Hi All,

Just recently I've seen a jump in site: operator readings for my clients site. For some time we had been losing pages, according to the site: operator (although readings remained somewhat static according to Google WMT). Has anyone else seen this?

I have a suspicion that the site: operator now shows an aggregate of supplemental indexes. Although it might just be a fluke that will change in the coming days.

I've also noticed that our Link stats from Google WMT have jumped tremendously. Could these changes be correlated?

Also, Blekko recently went live, coincidence?

Thanks in advance!

I've also suspected that the site: number has something to do with "supplemental" indexes - mostly because of what you see when you add a keyword to a basic site:example.com query. But there just isn't any way to know for sure without insider information about how Google is structured.

I don't immediately see how WMT link stats would be related to site: operator stats. And yes - I'm sure that Blekko's launch is not related to anything Google is doing.

site: has been buggy for a long time. i wouldn't place too much value on it. i would pay more attention to the data coming out of wmt. wmt data generally correlates much better to the health status of a website.

as for blekko, im curious why you would think it would impact site:
