Indexed in Google News but not showing in Google Alerts

My website is listed in Google News' index and when I subscribe for Google alerts for my the keyword (galatta) or even the domain name, I see my webpages under the category blogs, sometimes under the News section but never under web.

I would like to know why is that my webpages are displayed mostly under blog for Google Alert rather than News or Web even after indexation in News.

Any help would be appreciated.

That sounds like a sticky issue to me. It could be something fudged on Google's end, or maybe something in your registration for Google News.

This is the kind of issue I might take to the Google Webmaster Forums, where there's a good chance of getting a Google engineer to take a look.

I did post it in google forums, but none replied. Maybe I will give it a try again and repose my question. I'll also look in to the registration part, to find if anything is wrong there.
