Whoa, what's going on?

I've got bots coming in from Google all over the place, are they planning a big update and found a way of putting my images back in their SERPs?

i witnessed the same thing, so did those crawled pages get indexed? are they rankin in serp

By heck, they gave my server a right thumping! All my pages are still there yet none of the missing images have returned as yet.

Also my sites have high Googlebot activity. For example a week ago, gooblebot visited my site between 48/72hs not 24hs.

My site was dropped last friday.
