Google News SERPs Now Display a "Shared by" Number

Just noticed a new option next to the source name of Google News listings, in SERPS. "Shared by 10+"
It links to "Updates" page with "link:http://www.domain.com" search, and lists tweets with that link (also finds shortened links)

Someone mentioned this feature to me yesterday, and it happened to be a day I was traveling so I checked the SERPs from both Boston and New York. So far I haven't seen the Shared number. But it will be interesting to see if this feature rolls out universally - and how it affects News clickthrough rates.
