Hi there, Everyone:

I will be starting in earnest my quest to get more inbound links.

Although our site is in English, can inbound links from sites that are in another language benefit us?

Those external sites would be related. In fact the products we sell are often associated with the country where those external sites are.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Of course inbound links from sites that are in other language affect to your site ranking. My sites are not in English but I build links from all over the net, from Russian, Arabic, English, Swedish sites and normally get very good ranking later.

Thank you for the input, Dilemma.

Is the anchor text they use to link to your site in the same language as your site? Or is the anchor text in a different language (example: Russian, Arabic, English and Swedish)?

Of course anchor text is in the same language as my site content is. It's always good to vary anchor text and use also plain url as an anchor text.
