Hi there, Everyone:

using fetch as googlebot, I realized I have a few links (about three) that are in this format:

<a class="" TITLE="" href="/hr2.html"></a><img src="/images/global/fashionable3.gif"><a href="javascript:;"></a>

Would google consider this as hidden content? Or is it nothing to worry about?

Unfortunately the ecommerce system I use makes it hard to put a spacer between different sections of the category tree. So I rewrote a few links so that they wouldn't be "clickable" but would instead just show up with a graphic in the category tree.

Maybe this was a mistake...

Is that JavaScript link just empty?

And yes, the first link there is definitely a hidden link and potentially trouble. There's got to be a better hack to get spacing than including un-clickable links.

Hi there, Tedster:

Thanks for the response:

Yes, it is supposed to be just empty. It is just supposed to be a graphic that CAN'T be clicked on (to separate sections of the category tree).

there might be, but apparently they are above my budget right now.

And yes, the first link there is definitely a hidden link and potentially trouble.

Thanks. I don't like trouble, even if it is only potential. I will remove it today.
