Quite often I'm searching for different people and Google suggests gay. How does it come?

for example, for a lot of players from the German national football team they suggest these players are gay.

There is no problem with gay of course, but what the heck, they just can't mark people gay who are not gay.

That's the problem with algorithms, isn't it. I'm assuming that this particular suggestion comes from actual search volumes.

Google Suggestions also offers "company name lawsuit" or "company name scam" when there are none. In fact Google lost two lawsuits in France this year over this kind of thing. The only response i've seen so far is some filtering of suggestions to remove even high search terms if there is little content available for the SERP.

I think Google needs to do much better in this area. Instant Search Results pushed suggestions into the limelight. They did do some work on it, but it's still not right.
