3 language menu on entry page

Hello.

I would be glad if anyone could give me an advice on the following question.

At the moment, if anyone would enter my site name in the browser - sitename.eu - the english version is displayed. On top of the page an English menu is displayed and next to it a flag with the link displayed to the equivalent page in german and dutch language, containing the links to all Dutch and German pages. If I understand it correctly, this is already level 1.
Would it affect my page rank positively, if I would have an entry page containing 3 menus in 3 different languages with the links to the most important subject pages?

PageRank is affected by backlinks, not by content - so unless your new home page attracts nmore backlinks (could be) it won't affect the home page PR. However, it will circulate the Home Page PR in a different pattern, depending on what pages those menu links target.

If I assume you mean rankings in general, rather than PR, then a change like that on the home page is going to have an unpredictable effect. It might be good, especially if the menus are concise - say 5 or 6 choices each rather than massive hover menus with lots of dropdown choices. But Google can be touchy about big changes so there's no guarantee here.

One thing I would NOT do is add multilingual navigation to all the internal pages. The basic single flags would be fine.

I like making photos and publish them. Only a few albums are also translated from Dutch into English and German.
The subjects are personal and are about various things in life: holidays, city trips, events, carnival, walking tours etcetera.
All subjects (about 10) have an introduction page in English (the entry page, so the first level). Through a flag you reach the Dutch (my native language) and German homepage, so on the second level. The introduction pages are listed in a menu, which is included on top of every introduction page. All introduction pages are connected by a flag, which leads to the desired language.
What I meant is, if I would have an advantage if all three menu's would be on one page on the first level, so the same important. But on the other hand it could confuse a search engine. You may find the website on the user's profile.
