I've seen a change on one of the sites I monitor, but that is a very small percentage

I'm seeing a link: update and in the past I've seen a visable PR update a week or so later. I'm assuming that the PR update is an immediate thing though.

What do you guys use to monitor PR, just the toolbar?
Been monitoring my sites for a good few months and no changes at all in the toolbar PR, I'm 99% sure their PR has increased based on SERP position and inbound links showing in WMT.
I know that the update makes no difference to SERPS but I'm an old-school PR addict and I want to see my efforts quantified.

if you went graybar you probably scored a penalty or a PR-filter.

Most likely, you added outbound links that Google thinks you sold, or you had existing outbounds to sites Google now suspects of buying links.
Less likely, you are suspected of buying links yourself (significant IBLs are from other grey-barred pages)

pr is back this morning..and going through the site all is normal except for three pages that are still gray barred that used to be pr3. I have not added any extra links outbound? i will look into it more today to see what the effects have..
Stat - as far as I know, that Twitter Account is not an authoritative information source, even though it does include "google" in its member name.

Or the toolbar couldn't retrieve the information at the time.

I see a lot of internal pages at TBPR4 all of a sudden, but one of my other sites suddenly shows as 0, so who knows.

My main site went PR5 greybar to R5 in the last day or two.
I have one page on my site that was used for a viral campaign. It was a pr6, not it's greybarred. the greybar is closer to the truth, a pr 6 on that page was an anomoly.
So yeah, something going on.

Hello folks, I dont remember where I read tis, its probably on my buzz or something. I read that google PR would be updating, one of the issues to be adresses would be te pageload time. Could this be the case?
I dont know if this is very old, but I remember reading this a few months ago.
From ever since i have been constantly cheking the toolbar to see any modifications, but none appeared to any of my sites or clients sites.
Did you guys check your pageload time?
All the best to you all!

I've seen reports of changes here and elsewhere, but have not verified any actual changes on my own sites.

I removed the PR toolbar when some of my best performing pages dropped from PR 6/7 to greybar but traffic remained the same and even went up in some cases.
My buddy who has been tracking greybar rotation on our biggest sites pages is convinced Google put a randomizer in to confuse webmasters and SEO's.

Welcome to the forums, virtualmediabr. Your question mixes up PageRank and rankings. PageRank depends on how the rest of the web interlinks with a site - nothing more.
PageRank is one of several hundred factors used to determine where a page ranks for a particular search - and it is one of the more important factors, too. Page Speed a new but rather small factor in the ranking calculation.

The only recent changes is new pages on the web went from grey to white. Google ussually updates this every week or so, these updates seems to have slowed down dramaticaly recently.
