Accidentally hidden keywords - Possible?

We have a very simple site, with out main keyword as our H1 tag, these the keywords are the same colour as our background, but are perfectly visible as we have a tiled image (specified as background in css) behind it.

The issues comes when I look at the site through a google cache, in said cache the css background image doesn't tile, it only appears once and not behind the H1, essentially making the H1 invisible (as it's now the same colour as the background)

So my question is, Do you think this could be an issue, or am I barking up the wrong tree and should just look elsewhere?

If it helps, this site should be ranking in my opinion as it has age, diverse backlink portfolio and very uncompetitive search terms, with an exact match .com domain, and plenty of content!

Hello chrislloyd515, and welcome to the forums.

a false positive on "hidden text" is possible in situations like this - although I haven't heard much about it in years. If the background image is in a div or some other container element, you might try declaring a different background color in addition to the image for that container, just to see if it helps.
