Is this a normal practice and does it actually work to my benefit in google? We have a few hundred youtube videos and we link directly to them on youtube's site. Should i use the nofollow to link to them?

It would cause Google not to score those links and that could possibly hurt your video's change of ranking in universal search. And since nofollow links no longer have any PageRank sculpting effect for other links on your website page, I don't see what positive effects you could gain from it. Am I missing something?
