There's now a dedicated URL for Google's experiment with Realtime Search - http://www.google.com/realtime [google.com]

Play around with it - there are some interesting extra tools and options, including "Conversation View", date filtering, geographic filters and alerts.

<note the link is now updated>

I've found this very useful (ok, fun more than useful) but yesterday I started getting the message 'The experiment you're trying to access is no longer available' on the results page. Go to experiments overview'

Does everyone else see this message? It seems a little soon to pull the plug on it, and the message doesn't appear on the initial search page. Am I missing something?

I also get that message on the long query string URL - it was apparently a temporary replacement when there was trouble with the intended URL.

Try using google.com/realtime [google.com]

I'll update the first posst in this thread.

I still see also it on the long query string URL, but it's likely that will get phrased out.

...but yesterday I started getting the message...

dataguy - I was momentarily hoping for an epiphany of sorts. ;)

Actually, I've had quite a few epiphanies while using this realtime search, Robert. Probably the greatest was that I could use realtime search to find excellent, active bloggers to hire.
