I been hearing about profile links for a while. But I havent really tried it. Since spiders in forums doesnt crawl that much specially in the profiles unless you have some posts.

It is it effective and worth the effort?

I need some feed backs from first hand experience pls. :)

It really depends on what you're trying to do. Without a good contribution to any forum, a profile is going to be weak, so if you're looking for a real backlink pop trick, I'd say this isn't it. in fact, the tricks are quickly evaporating.

On the other hand, I've seen profiles themselves do really well in search results, especially for company and personal names. That can be a good kind of "reputation management" SEO.

Thanks.. I agree with you bro.. it is good only on company/personal names.
