Multiple hyperlinks on sponsored links in the UK

Forgive me if this has already been mentioned but I have seen some instances where a sponsored link (Adsense Ad) for widgets has also included hyperlinks below the ad for red, green, blue and yellow widgets. This has only happened amongst the top three ads and so far the only search terms affected that I've found have been company names but the extra links have appeared on competitors as well as the trademark owner. I'm in the UK.

This new feature may just now be rolling out in the UK - it is relatively new in the US too. We touched on it lightly in this thread [webmasterworld.com] a couple weeks ago.

This Adwords program is called "Ad Extensions" - and doesn't apparently have a connection to organic SEO.
