Starred Results in shopping section - whats this then?

Hi

I have a site (which I am talking about in another thread which google shows the following for.

Starred results for buy keyword1 keyword2

Whats the significance of "starred results" guys? This appears under the shopping section in the serp for the phrase "buy keyword1 keyword2" - however it must be noted that I want to rank for "keyword1 keyword2" but I am only at position 4.

Does this means google finally likes me?

Also - please note that I put quotes round search strings here so you know the string - but I dont search with quotes to get this result.

Ive never had or seen this before.

Any thoughts appreciated.

It sounds like this: Stars make search more personal [googleblog.blogspot.com]

It also sounds like you are logged in to a Google account on that browser, so you are seeing personalized results based on your search history (unless you've intentionally turned of search history).

Tedster - yes - thanks for that. I started a fresh browser in which I visit no sites other than google for looking at serps and never clicking links - this one doesnt show stars.
