An interesting article has appeared on

[google-au.blogspot.com...] describing how some experiments with Google's map API and language interpretations could uncover the related geo positions that the reviews related to.

Here is a breakdown of how the sentences were broken down to come up with the locations. [3.bp.blogspot.com...]

I've always thought that relevance was important in the heirarchy of navigation, but never fully appreciated the complexities to which Google's technology needs to go to get it's semantics and relevancy right within content. This insight was quite enlightening for me ... so i thought i'd pass it on for others to marvel at.

Thanks for posting - that blog article was on my "to-do" reading list and you pushed me ;)
