PHP vs HTML - does Google care?

Hello all, first post.

I have a site that the file extensions are all php. About 90% of the content is html. Example: The programmer made an index.php but all the code in it is html. 90% of the files are pure html.
Would this cause a problem with Google or others?

Simple answer...No. Regardless, Google or any bot for that matter renders any php as html anyway.
