Hi,

The status of personalized search (on/off) is now displayed with every search on google chrome when not connected. A link has also been added to turn it on/off.

I delete cookies from time to time and sometimes I forget to turn off personalized search on google search. Now we can easily check if personalized search is turned on and turn it off.

I'm seeing the same kind of Google interface in Chrome that I get with other browsers - they all just tell me whether I'm "signed in" or not, up in the right left-hand corner. Where on the Chrome search results page are you seeing this information about whether the results are personalized?

Sorry for the false news. I turned off all chrome extensions just to be sure, and it is "Seo Site Tools" that adds this information on google serp. It also seems to be a little buggy at the moment.

I'm sorry too. This is exactly the kind of transparency that I feel Google SHOULD be presenting.
