Hi, I have seen a site with Good Page titles only that doesnt have any other useful content getting thousands of pages indexed by google. Wouldnt want to mention the site here but how does it work? Google doesn't mind a site with thousands of pages that have Good Titles and H1 Headings only?

Sounds like a Googlebug to me. What good would a site like that do for anyone, even the owner?

Maybe someone temporarily got some high rankings for pages with virtually no content, but that doesn't mean that you could do it too. Besides, why would anyone want to create something of such little value?

Ah so, another bottom-feeder method that's working for the moment at least. As Dire Straits might sing, "Money for nothing and your 'clicks' for free."

Good Titles and H1 Headings only?

Back in the mid to late 90s, I saw this approach briefly cited as a way of tricking one of the engines... probably Excite or Lycos or InfoSeek... into thinking your page was highly focused on a word or phrase in the title. Even then, the approach was viewed with cynicism as an algorithm weakness, and, as I remember, it didn't work for very long.

If this works at some point in the Google indexing window now, it's unlikely it will stick around. I'm surprised it works at all.

Link trump anything. Even having no text and only images.

Not true. I was in the #3 spot for 2 years under junk because of an OOP (that Caffeine seems to have removed). If you have the perfect title, perfect content and perfect backlinks then expect to be ranked low no matter how many you get. My fault I guess for calling my company something that is a regular phrase.
