I haven't been able to load any Google sites for about 10 minutes. Tried on PC, 3G iPhone and Google iPhone search App. It's 3:20pm EST.
Anyone else notice?

Yes, I noticed it slowed to a crawl when I was searching for images. I thought it was my browser and then my computer, but it was Google.

It was down, really. People argue it wasn't. Doubt the Google servers were down, but a connection between some of us and them broke somewhere.

There's some pretty convincing evidence on SE Roundable [seroundtable.com] - including some archived tweets.

maps.google.com
the yellow "loading", then the yellow "Still loading... Slow? Use the troubleshooting guide or basic HTML." message.
Out of order.

Dont know if this would be related to the same event but our adsense account came to almost a halt around 4pm EDT and the day closed down around 50% for all metrics which does not mirror our internal stats and other ad partners stats.
Just like a good chunk of the days data is missing.

They might have one or two blocks of servers down or a single machine causing an outage.
I've see this before and accessing another machine at different IP address solved the problem.
