I was just wondering what is the percentage of links that google webmaster shows for a website and how long it takes for it to get those links to show in google webmaster ?

Over the last 3 months I have had many new links but so far... I only see about 30 % of those new links and 70 % don't show in google webmaster.

Finally, does the time it takes for links to appear on google webmaster depend on the PR of the website the links are on ?

Thank you,

aristotle

My experience is that GWT typically shows about 20% -30% of the total number of links that Google has actually found. The updates have been fairly frequent recently. I don't think the time depends on the PR. Some of the newly discovered links will never be shown.

But the worst problem for me is the selection of links that GWT chooses to show. High quality links are often left out, but 50 links from the blogroll of some obscure blog will be shown.

Additionally, no-follow links are shown together with do-follow to make it even less reliable source of your links data.

Thank you for your replies, I though WMT would show all the links but if it only shows 20 % or 30 % i understand.
