I performed a search in Google a moment ago and noticed that the sponsored listings in the right hand column now have 3 new "shopping" type offers above them.
The shopping offers have a fairly large square image of the item being offered along with a link, price and store name. The sponsored listings we're all used to seeing start after that.
Have affiliate type "shopping" results been added above paid adwords type ads now too?
People have complained that even top spot in natural search results is sometimes below the fold with maps, shopping offers, news and other gadgets appearing above #1. At least the natural search results are free...
