New link campaign and ranking getting worse

Hello,

I am currently working on adding a few backlins to my website. I used to be ranked fairely well for my keywords and since I have started that link campain my ranking has gotten worse. I moved 10 pages further from where I was ? why is that, is that normal ? and how long until I rank again well, it has been almost 2 weeks since I started adding links ?

What do you mean by "I started adding links"? How are you getting these links? What kind of websites are linking to you now? Are they related to your industry?

I created a news release and started getting links naturally and since then I have a some great links being added but it seems that google is redoing some kind of calculation to rank me with those new links and since then my ranking has changed but for the worse not the better... maybe it is normal ?
