keyword disappearing in the search engines

there was a keyword from my blog that appeared in the 4th page (40) of Google. One day I changed my homepage of my blog (blogspot). After that that keyword of mine appeared in the last page. Now yesterday I post a new article and made it my homepage, and now the keyword don't appear at all.
Is this due to the changing of my homepage article. But this is in blogspot..so changing the homepage article doesn't matter I guess...:)

I'm not sure I understand what you mean?

If you removed the keyword from the homepage the homepage should not rank for the keyword... Why would (or should) that be any different for a blogspot blog than for any other site? It wouldn't make sense if it did rank when what people were searching for was no longer there.

I don't understand the rest of the statement though. Changing content or topic IMO and In My Experience always matter regardless of the technology behind the content or the hosting of the content. IMO It wouldn't make sense if it didn't...
