I have been experimenting different templates and have moved different blocks (the regions used in Drupal CMS) around lately.
Changing templates or moving blocks using Drupal is simple and only a click away!
However before I play around more with the site I was a bit concerned how Google sees the changes occurring…
Since a template change or moving around one block or adding or removing a new header tab may affect ALL pages all at once, I was wondering does Google see that as a manipulation? Adding/Changing link or links on over 1,000 pages at all once
Also can having blocks such as Recent Posts, Recent Comments, Popular Links on all pages make Google suspicious since the links change on a daily/weekly basis? Im assuming not since I’ve seen similar blocks on very popular sites; but If not, how does Google distinguish those legit blocks mentioned with webmasters manually setting inner links for PR distribution ?
Thanks in advance,
DP
I'd be very careful with new links or even modification of link text. Rearranging mere content containers site-wide so far was no problem for me.
