Hi,
this is the first time I put instructions in my htaccess for my new site to have the ".www" removed. So anyone going to www.mysite.com is redirected to mysite.com (without the www).

I declared this "mysite.com" in google webmater tools with a sitemap, and first thing I noticed different from all other of my sites, where on the contrary I force display of ".www", is that I got an error in first few day saying googlebog couldn't access robots.txt. There was no particular reason for this.

My guess is the robot got troubled and tried to force to find robots.txt in "www.mysite.com" instead in "mysite.com".

I resubmitted sitemap, and google bot was able to index all the pages of my site without problem and without changing anything.

Anyway, my site is now in google index.
Each time a new site got indexed previously, google systematically brought at least some visitors each day.... maybe 4-5 at minimum.

Since this site was indexed, 3 weeks ago, google didn't bring a SINGLE visit to the site. Yet, I can verify it is properly indexed.

So, do sites without ".www" have a lowered priority compared to sites with ".www" ?
Could this be possible ? It is the first time ever that an indexed sites receives 0 visits from google.

No, there is no preference for the with-www address over the no-www address.

It's more likely that your timing got caught up in the chaos of this particular moment, where Google is preparing to launch their complete new infrastructure, called Caffeine. There is a lot of strangeness being observed right now.

Thanks for your answer.
So I will not take the pain to transform my site to + "www" version.
