Welcome to WebmasterWorld Guest from 126.96.36.199
I read about ten maybe more topics about "geotargeting". I have one more question. I create site with subdirectories like es/by/kr/ke/ ... it's mean - espagna/belarus/korea/kenya. Now, i pointed a particular country to each subdirectories by using Google Webmaster Tools (domain was verified by only one google verification HTML file). Can I expect presence in the local search results ? For example:
Results (Spanish language) in Puerto Rico for "páginas de Puerto Rico"(pages from Puerto Rico) ? I know that my site like http://www.example.eu/pr/ will be in "páginas en espanol" (pages in spain language), but i dont care for this results, why ? Because i want local result. It is possible ?

[edit reason] changed to example.tld - it can never be owned [/edit]
If you set the subdirectories to their respective countries, then those URLs should be competing in the regular searches done from within each country, not just competing with the pages written in that language. How strong a presence they achieve would still depend on how well they stack up compared to all the other websites in the same search.
Thx for fast answer.
So, i read more topics abot geotargeting yesteday. One of them be really usefull, but geotargeting is like lottery (or not i hope). Why lottery ? One webmaster with PR5 domain waithing 3 mothts for local results and nothing. IP host localization don't play act, i am sure(maybe is important). Google Pagerank , hmmm... must be strong argument. Geotargeting Webmaster Tool setting also strong argument. Yes, (in one topic) they tell that content is very important. So we have porbably many strong argument needed for sucess. I try link-anchor and title in specific language, alt in image also. But i dont know nothing about internal linking. So next question. Internal Link for example .com/ke/ to .com/jp/ schould be with "nofollow" atribute ? Look like backlink form other "local" domain is just strongest agrument. One thing is really sad, Google webmaster tool is automated not human edited, this is wrong. How many sites are constructed in this way ? 1% or less. So this tool schould be human edited but is not. Yee am sceptical, my domain have PR0 .... i be waiting one year perchaps :D
