Sites with PR rank superhigh while others not?

So one of my sites is quite fresh, got indexed a few weeks ago.
All pages are in the Google index and the toolbar shows Pagerank since January, 1st.

Yes, yes, I know that the Pagerank shown there is kind of unimportant but oddly enough only my main index site plus 3 subpages got PR, all others not. And the pages for which the toolbar shows the green are superhigh in SERPS. All others are not though they are in the index.

What is the reason for the other pages not to get any PR?
The links aren't any deeper, most are accessible through the front page.

I've noticed the same across many pages, is that just a temporary issue or do they never get PR perhaps?

The way toolbar PR is distributed through a site today has many unknowns these days. It's more important to see if a page is getting spidered and getting traffic, IMO, rather than to focus on the toolbar.

There are a few currently active threads with observations about PR anomalies right now - you may just be seeing a bug.
