I've had some flash animations up for a few months now. At the end of each one I've placed a link back to my site (so basically its an internal link from the .swf to my home page).

Google has indexed these .swf files.

I can search for the exact linking text found in the .swf and find it in the SERP's. So clearly Google has read through the file and interpreted things.

However, when I go to Webmaster Tools and check internal links I do not find a link from my .swf file to the home page listed.

I just thought this was curious.

I don't think that webmaster tools is synced with Google search. Google search may be set up to read swf files but webmaster tools may not be set up for that yet.
