My redirecting site has PR2 , how is it possible ?

my domain is example.com and i m also keeping example.net just in case . now i ve checked pr of it . and it looks pr2 . and my com domain is also pr2 ? .net domain is just has a redirection to .com domain . How is that possible or is it fake ? thanks

How are you checking the PR value? The Google Toolbar is a browser-based tool, and any browser or other user-agent will be redirected. If you're using a third PR-checking party tool, it's probably getting the redirected information from Google's actual PR server.
