Repetition of Keyword in URL

I am wondering if its a good idea to have your keyword in each section of Url e.g

examplewidget.com/category-widget/product-name-widget.html

Term widget is repeated three times, once in the main Url which is targetting keyword Example Widget, then it is used in category which is targetting keyword Category Widget and finally in the landing url which is targetting Product Name Widget.

Does this use of keyword falls into over optimization category? To me it looks like a pretty url and self explanatory to users.

I have that situation on several sites and there's been no problem. I honestly think that keywords in the file path are not a problem -- and neither are they as much help as many people seem to feel.

Now if the domain name itself has three occurrences of "widget" - forget about it.

I've used a similar URL format for years and have had no problem.
