How much time do I need to wait until Google Webmaster Tool show my backlinks?

I signed up and validated my website on Oct the 13th. Today still no backlinks.
My website is 4 months old and it has 51 backlinks on yahoo.

That's only 1 day. The latest brand new site I launched took a few weeks to show links (although that probably has more to do with crawl rate). My guess is that the frequency of updates in WMT would be the frequency of crawl / cache in Google.

The issue is that once site ownership is verified, Webmaster Tools usually makes the data available immediately, and this site has been online for four months as I understand it. There's no delay to build up history, as there would need to be with Analytics. Does the link: operator show anything right now?

It is also true that even in Webmaster Tools you may only see a sampling of your backlinks, but it is a MUCH more complete sampling than you get with the link: operator. You sometimes also see links that are no-followed by the linking website. This doesn't mean those links "count", just that Google is telling you they exist.

link: on Google does not show anything about my website.
Do you think my backlinks are already available on Webmaster Tool and it show to me 0 backlinks?

It's possible. Do you think Google might rate all your current backlinks as low quality and not worth reporting?

Otherwise, it sounds like a bug in Webmaster Tools - and they certainly do happen.

Is your site getting Google traffic?

Many of them are low quality: directories and blogs, but one oneway backlink is located on a pr4 page. That website is related to me and very important (its home page is pr6). Four backlinks on pr3 pages. One on pr2 page, and the other pr1, pr0 and with no pr. They are all oneway links.
I get from google 20 visitors everyday. Webmaster google tool shows to me the 30 Top search queries.

Here are two factors you can keep in mind. Even if a backlink isn't showing in Google's reporting tools, that does NOT mean they haven't indexed it or given your site credit for the backlink's power. The opposite is also true - just because a backlink is listed in a report doesn't mean that it is giving your site any ranking help at all (or harm, for that matter).

So the reports that Google offers (both the special operators and WMT) do not come "directly" from the ranking algorithm's "working" data. The report data is accessed in a different way by the Webmaster Tools infrastructure.

ok Tedster, but I am not interested in that reasonings: I do not care in that post if my backlinks are counted or not.
I only want to see backlinks, keywords, anchors, and internal links too. I have the internal links page empty. Incredible. I only want to see some interesting info about my website. That the reason why I signed up to Webmaster Tool. Until now I am disappointed from the results.

Now Kewywords page is totally populated. Internal links and links to your website have some data now. Very few links but at least something is moving.
