"Unreachable" says WMT... but I'm ranking and cached

I have several folders, all run from the same scripting program and all using mod_rewrites to get the information in to different folders.

All the "pages"

(i.e. example.com/folder1/file.htm which is a mod_rewrite of example.com/adminfolder/script.php?id=file)

in 2 of the folders shows up in WMT as "unreachable". But they are being indexed fine by Google and ranked okay. Cache of the page is a full cache. Now, with Google's new Labs section with crawler checking I get the same thing. The headers look fine, all the HTML coding shows up fine ... but they are all being labeled as unreachable.

Any ideas what to check?

Thanks
Mike

I'd say don't worry about it unless the situation continues for more than a short time. I've seen this message a few times, and my best understanding in each case is that it was a technical obstacle on Google's end, and not on the website's server.

Of course, check the link and make sure the url is still accessible through a browser. You also might try the new Webmaster Tools "Fetch as Googlebot" command [webmasterworld.com] to see what it shows you.

The "unreachable" tag has been put on these pages for the last 4 months. Google indexes them fine and "fetch as googlebot" retrieves all the HTML and the headers look good - but they are still marked "unreachable"?!?!
