internal pages with no pagerank - some rank well, some don't

Just wanted to see if any of you also have the same problem or agree that once a page from your site gets a little bit of pagerank it starts to show up in the serps. (for average competitive keyword phrases) I have seen pages rank fairly well with no PR and others as soon as they do get some also rank it just depends on the keyword phrase.

anyone else notice this too?

No, I see greybar pages rank #1 for their terms too. The toolbar PR is no indication of the actual PR of the page. If you can see the page with a site: operator, it should rank somewhere.

You can find a lot of URL's ranking in #1 that have no PR (N/A).

As anallawalla said, TBPR is not equal to actual PR.
