Which page title would you try and rank for?

I am trying to get my head around page title SEO and how to pick the right title for a given page.

For example if we sold "green widgets having a quick look into the adwords keyword tool tells us that we have a few choices in terms of which keywords to use

green gun style widgets - has 135K indexed pages
green non contact widgets - 4,920K indexed pages

Both title accurately describe the product but which one would you pick or would you make a hybrid page title of "green gun sytle non contact widgets"?

I will optimize the index title for Green Widgets and then create 2 pages optimized for the other 2 phrases. It is much better to create pages with content related to specific keyword than it is to optimize one page for multiple keyphrases.

Ok interesting - but if this was an ecommerce site that would mean writing 3 descriptions for the same product?
