Did anyone notice a PR Update on July 4?

Some guys told me about a little update... until now I just noticed that Bing got PR 9.

We had a report of PR changes a couple days ago [webmasterworld.com].

That post also lists 8th May, 19th May, 28th May, 24th June, 2nd July. Something very different from the pattern we're used to with Google.
