For certain reasons I had to do a search on Uccello, the Renaissance artist who paints those enormous lance-filled battle scenes.

...So after the first three search results, I get a subset of results entitled "See results for: lady bird johnson".

Huh? I can't find any connection whatsoever between her and Uccello or any likely misspelling of same. Why does the "See results for" suggestion come up anyway if there is no corresponding "Did you mean?" prompt?

We normally don't discuss specific keywords here (see the Google Forum Charter [webmasterworld.com]) but this is an interesting and non-promotional example of an apparent bug - so I'm making an exception.

I found it very interesting to do this search [+uccello lady bird johnson]. I can see several reasons why Google's automated semantic engine might be tangled up. Espcially this one - the NY Times crossword puzzle once used both these names as clues for 59 Across and 61 Across - in other words, back to back.

Yes, I'd say it's a bug - coming from co-occurrence that is only coincidental
