How can I quickly and easily export the top 10 search results (URLs) for a query to a text file or the clip board?

I can code, fairly well, but can't figure out a simple way to do this with the Google AJAX api that is now available. Seems almost like it's designed (or documented) specifically to make this hard or impossible.

I do have an old Google API key, but it looks like the documentation (and possibly the interface itself) is gone.

To answer my own question.

Google: "Using Google is AJAX Search API with Java"

Er.. well almost. For my needs, I need to be able to search specific global google engines, for example, google.ca or google.co.uk. The AJAX api does not allow for this.

Just an idea - You may find it useful to query google.co.uk/ie and google.ca/ie - these are PDA versions of Google Search originally for PocketPC Internet Explorer. They only return linked titles and numbers, not all the rest of the information.
