Hello
I have a small website which ranks well in .com but not for my region which is .co.uk.
I am thinking that what I need to boost position is .co.uk links to the website.
Would this theory be correct? Please help.

The most important factor for ranking on a Google ccTLD seems to be having your website hosted in that country; backlinks help but they are not primary.
Is your site hosted within the UK?

hello Tedster
Yes it is hosted within our country. I have noticed that 2 of my sites are doing much better on .com than in .co.uk. Is this common?

I'd say it's not common, since the competition on google.com is going to be more intense.
