I'm finding unique terms at No1 on Google.com , for sites , yet they do not show up consistantly in the same position on the global search filter of various regional TLD's. This is happening in particular to sites with their own regional TLD's and/or hosted in different regions, from what i am observing.
Which make it hard to get global coverage for a site's result.
Any ideas ?

Yes, that is exactly the way it works. If there's going to be anything even close to a "global" presence for any site, it must not be on a ccTLD.
Language and TLD's are the only one's I've witnessed. Language can be frustrating since , for example ES , doesn't always figure well in Central / South american results for example. And setting up separate servers has in my view been a potentially costly risk.
Are there tips on what further helpful factors to "mitigate" this difficulty ?
