Any update on whether Google can crawl links contained in flash?

The answer is yes - Google can index both text and links in a Flash file.

I'd expect the link to have the same value, but the overall disadvantage of not having pages with individual headers will be a detractor for Flash-only sites.

I would assume they do not have the same value until it is proven otherwise.
