How fast should I expect pages to be indexed by google?

Hi Guys,

I have a website relatively new. started SEO and posted it to google only one month ago.

google started indexing something like 10 pages per day but it almost stopped last week at the level of having indexed only 20% of the total pages of my sites.
my site is not so big. around 400 links and all of them written in sitemap.

Is is normal? or I have some problem? should I do something over quality?
usually how much would it take for a site with similar size of my site to get indexed fully in google?

Thanks for you help in advance :)

it's going to depend upon how deep your linking structure is, the age of the domain (new), how relevent your pages are, and of course any backlinks that are already in place. G has to have a "reason" to get all your pages indexed quickly. Otherwise, it's pretty much a wait and see kind of game...

best of luck!

you stated you have a sitemap already in place, so that should alleviate any crawling issues that would keep certain pages from being indexed.

and lets mention here: Even if G indexes your entire site that's absolutely no guarantee that those pages make it into the SERP's...If that's your gauge (looking at total pages listed in the G listings)

Watch your logs, you'll see how often G comes to the site, and what pages it has grabbed. If you're site has a long directory structure /examples/sub-examples/sub-sub-examples/ etc, it's going to take G a While to get thru all that, and it's got to have a good reason to start digging deep into the site. Again, the site has to have merit.

I would safely say that "eventually" your entire site will get crawled. However, there's too many variables (some unknown) that prevents a black and white "yes G will grab your whole site in X days" kind of answer.
