Google SERP link goes to my site through a redirect

Of late I'm noticing that the link in the SERPs to my site is sometimes going through a redirect. For example searching for best places to do X, my site is in second place. Links to all other sites in the top 10 go directly to the site. Links to my site go to:

http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=2&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.example.com%2Ffolder-name%2Fpage-name.htm&ei=8_sOmEmIxeDleTTersHere=j&q=best+places+doX&usg=sOmEOtherMIxeDleTTersHere

I've noticed this on several search terms where I figure in the top 10.

Anyone knows what this is about?

Thanks, Robert, I obviously missed that news. Since your post I've been reading up about it. I have a question but I'll post it in the other thread.
