Hi,

I think I am missing something with the way google ranks websites.
My website is showing up for a competitive keyword in Europe but not in the United States... I switched my hosting to a United States a month but it hasn't changed anything yet, I still don't see my website showing up in the United States for a specific keyword...

Is it because it takes more than a month for google to figure out that I switched hosting or it is because my website is not optimized well enough for the United States.

Everyone tells me to check backlinks with US IP ( I have that ) TLD is ok .com. Optimization of the site is way better than all the sites I see ranking for the keyword I am targeting ( content + links )... so I really don't understand...

I heard that I should write my mailing address in the United States and tel number as well as adding my site to google maps.

I doubt it will change anything all the sites ranking for that keyword don't have any of that ... all they have different than me is their age they are 10 years old when I am 2... and I think it is the reason , google wants me to pay for a few years ( like every business they are in to make money ;)

( what also makes me think that is the fact that on the internet 95 % of the sites on the first page are ugly old website or famous multinationals that google boosts... the middle doesn't seem to exist

Could the age of my website be the reason ? or is it just a matter of time for google to detect that I switched hosting ( from EU to the US )

if not what could it be that I am missing ? I have done all the links possible and can't find anymore links, I am really running out of ideas and I am starting to believe that unfortunately there is no way to sell on the internet and that is a just a fun toy to relax at night !

Thank you,

Noton

To check if your website is considered US content replace in the URL bellow the #*$!X.com with your site, the resulting pages are considered US content.

[google.com...]

To see what is still being considered content on the old host/server/ip change the US in the countryUS part of the URL to the 2 letter code of your country, example UK for United Kingdom, DE for Germany, CH for Switzerland...
