Hi everyone, I have a site that is about 8 months old and climbing steady in the serps.

Looks like, long gone are the days of the major dance in google serps. How often does google update the index? Is it continoues or do they hit the button once a week?

Just noticed some pages climb steady others once every month.

may luck be with you.

Yes, today Google makes some kind of ranking changes more than once a day. Every change does not affect every search term as you've noticed - but we now have a "continual rolling update" situation. Sometimes a major change rolls out that is more noticeable, such as the 'vince' update [webmasterworld.com]
