Inadvertent disallow - how long before rankings return?

On one of my sites, I inadvertantly made a mistake in my robots.txt file.

I had meant to disallow a particular folder, as in:

User-agent: *
Disallow: /folder/

But somehow I never got to the point of adding the folder name, and so ended up saving and uploading this:

User-agent: *
Disallow: /

I only realized this after that site disappeared from Google after a week.

I have now corrected the robots.txt file.

Can I expect googlebot to crawl again and my pages to reappear anywhere near their typical rankings anytime soon? Or will it take some time to get things back to typical?

Usually things come back to normal after a short period - a few days in some cases, a week or so in others.

I wish I could show you a screenshot of one of my sites statistics, I uploaded a robots.txt file into the wrong site's directory and over the next 3 days it fell out of Google completely. I found the problem quickly when I started to investigate but it took 3 more days for things to completely reverse. I'm thankful it wasn't weeks or months.
