We are about to do domain-wide 301 from one domain to the other.
Both domains are in the same Webmaster tools account and each has its own sitemap, which, apart from TLD, are identical, i.e. domains are mirrors.

When we implement 301 from Domain A to Domain B (page to page level), should the Domain A, which is being re-directed:

a) Still have sitemap for Domain A as it is now?
b) Should we delete sitemap of Domain A and remove it from GWT?
c) Should Domain A sitemap actually point to Domain B URLs (would not think so, but thought to ask just in case).

Thank you.

Yes, you should make a new Sitemap containing only the urls that will resolve without 301 redirects. Your Webmaster Tools will probably show you that warning pretty soon.

Thank you tedster on your reply.

Appears to be option b) then (delete sitemap) since every of pages from Domain A will be redirected to Domain B.
