New External Links Stopped Showing Up in WMT

One of my sites fell from the number 1-3 rankings on a my prime keywords in a pretty low competition niche about a month ago. I haven't been able to figure out out why and now when i was looking through my google webmaster tools in the link section i realized that google has stopped adding new links to my list. My last link added was back in early january and since then no new links have been added despite me personally building up at least 20-30 links since then.

Does anyone know what could be going on or possibly has this happened to someone else before.

Also when i search for my links via the google search with link:www.site.com no links show up at all.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated

I've been waiting for a refresh of external links myself. In the past couple of months, the WMT External link report seemed to be updating about once-a-week. I've been waiting about 3-4 weeks for an update myself. WMT points to a reporting server, and the information that it displays is certainly not real-time.

On a separate note, the fact that nothing shows up for you with site:www.example.com, is one of 2 things:

1) Google hiccup - this has happened to me before;

2) On a worse note, it could mean that you've been banned from Google for a serious infraction;

Since I've never been banned outright, I'm not qualified to comment on why you are seeing stuff in WMT, but not via the site: command. I would hang in there, until WMT makes its next report on links available, before drawing any conclusions.

clicking the number of internal or external link in WMT gives "no results found" for all of my sites listed there.....
should i be worried?

alright, it seems like a lot of people have been experiencing this lately.

Caribguy - i haven't had anything for the last few weeks tho not just today.

doughayman - i dont think im banned when i do a site search my pages still come up in the index, it's only when i do an external link search for links pointing to my site that nothing comes up

I'm just hoping this has nothing to do with my rank dropping over 500 spots in a relatively uncompetitive niche. It's crazy actually, i have a site devoted 100% to the specific niche, and 1 post i put on one of my unrelated blogs about the same thing ranks higher right now ( first page actually)

Maybe it's been fixed for some websites, but I just checked mine and it still says "no links found" for both internal and external links.

I am also seeing no links found for external and internal links.

A page on one of my sites, that under "crawl stats" is listed as the page with the highest pagerank for the site, is totally missing in the "pages with external links" section.

It's broken.

has been fixed for me yesterday

that's the thing though, i still have links in my webmaster tools but they haven't changed for a month even though i've gotten a lot more links, even some from pg rank 5-6 sites.

Also no links show up when a link:www.site.com search is done, not even the one that are in my webmaster tools. I think i have something completely different going on
