I was wondering why one of my site has no cache in Google.com if:
- the keyword checked is "keyword1". (other keywords, it has a cache)
- and each time it ranks in top 10. (out of this, it has a cache)
Anyone webmasters here could explain the possible reasons?
Clues:
- this site I use to join a Vietnam SEO contest targeting the keyword "keyword1"
- this site only ranks top 10 with this keyword whenever I modify a post or post a new entry.
Thanks and nice day truly webmasters, :-)

That's an interesting observation. Your second "clue" is the big one. It sounds like this keyword has what Google calls "QDF" or Query Deserves Freshness.
That means that a special data-set is integrated into the top results, and that data-set does not yet have a cached page on the Google cache server, because it's so new. Being indexed and having a cached page are two different actions at Google - they are even served from different IP addresses, for example. The new indexing is faster than a new cached page.
I forgot 1 more clue, that is, this site only ranks top 10 (positions around 6-8) within 24 hours (usually 6 hours I think)
Sometimes I think its a new policy of Google Search on SEO contest sites targeting 1 specific keyword (keyword1). But only my site in the top 20 got this status.
My later test (setup in Jan 2009), using that domain.com/keyword1/ (just to make clear the no cache site is keyword1.domain.com/ built in Mid Demcember 2008), has a more stable rank (now from position 9-12).
Thanks Tedsters for your warm welcome and info. :-)
