Hello,

To increase my page rank I am currently creating links on different websites.

I have a website that offers me to do different links across its website

One link on the following page www.myfriendwebsite.com/page1
One link on the following page www.myfriendwebsite.com/page2
Pne link on the following page www.myfriendwebsite.com/page

Each of those pages have a PR of 3 , would you recommand creating a link for my website on each of the page or is one link on one of the pages enough ?

My question : is google counting 3 links on the same website ( different pages) as one link or is it counting it as three links ? )

Thank you,

Are we talking text links?
Your choice of anchor text?
Where will the links appear on the page?
How many other links are on these pages?
Is your content related to the content on this site?

All 3 links should be counted. As long as the links are not burried in the footer and are surrounded by related content they should help you. Depending on the cost of the links, it may be worth it. PR 3 is okay, but not great. If your site is less than PR 3 then it would help you more than if your site is say a PR 5. Slightly change the anchor text on each link if you can.

Since buying/selling links to pass pagerank is not recommended by Google, I would watch the site closely that you are buying links on especially if it's a pricey link. Google typically reduces the PR of sites who sell links and would not be beneficial to you if that happens. The buyer is usually not affected other than a drop in ranking due to the loss of PR. Do be misteken, this is not a penalty, rather you have just lost credit for some links. Not everyone gets caught and as long as the content is related, the chances of getting caught are even fewer.

Also, if you do buy the links be sure to give it 30-90 days to be picked up by G. In my experience, it has taken about 3 months for changes to be noticed. Buying a link for a week is pointless unless you are doing it for traffic only.
